There where seven pieces drawn for newspaper ads for 'The Goonies' in 1985. They were done in black and sepia tone on white paper.
The kids were done as seperate pieces and were added on a repeated background. The concept came from Steven Spielberg. In order to give equal time to each of the kids, he wanted the ad to rotate in the papers with every kid having his day at the top. They don't just have a different kid at the top but they actually rotate down the line so each one has a different spot each time.
