"Made me Cry"
Hi. I am María and I am from Argentina. Looking for something interesting to read I found your page, and I wanted to tell you that I think it' s GREAT!!!
I have no words to explain what I felt when I saw the pictures of you two at the "Movie locations". I have to confess you made me cry, and a lot!! You did what I dreamed about all my life: BE THERE!!! IN the movie!!! I am 25 years old, and The goonies has been my favourite movie since I first saw it (I think I was 10).
I just wanted you to know that I LOVE to see that video, those pictures.

The Goonies Vacation is a superb rendition of childhood nostalgia and pure genius. Pat Radcliff and Ron Fugelseth are two amazingly creative and hilarious guys. This movie not only portrays every 20-something's dream, but allows the viewer to go to their own 'happy place'. What kid didn't want to be a goonie? Heck! I still want to be a goonie!
Having the pleasure of personally knowing both of the producers of this film deepens my own appreciation for the work that was put into this. This film is definitely oscar material. Ron's portrayal of Chevy Chase from Family Vacation is almost exact to a tee! I cannot say enough good things about this short film.
I eagerly await the next movie! I hope you guys are well! New Zealand enjoys your movie!

A New contender to the Goonie Website Crown
Im now happy to find out that thegoonies.org has replaced a much needed outpost for us Goonies` to express the love for such an important movie of the 80's and our childhood.
.....now onto the vacation movie. I know other people have said this, but what a fantastic editing job you guys have done. Im sure that's how Spielberg started out! It was very funny and i loved the National Lampoons vacation bits (another film i like). Hope there will be a sequel.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
I am so impressed, that was the coolest vacation film ever. It was original, funny, unique, great, amazing, two thumbs up!! I loved it! It was the sequel that I've been waiting for. I am so impressed with the work. The editing was great. Keep filming guys, I look forward to future work and hey, maybe one day your names will be right up there with Speilberg, in fact I know they will! You guys rock!

That was more then any of us wish waiters could have ever asked for! There is always textual recounts of trips to astoria with the occasional drawl and limited photos of the visited locations.
You guys took it a step further and with more fan appreciation both to us and to the spirit of The Goonies then could have been asked for.
The video, the locations, the personality the comic search for purpose and meaning and the connection with the movies soul
itself. Excellent work, I cannot begin to articulate my true admiration for your work and what you have done for us as
Goonies fans, I wish it could have been longer, I wish I could have been there. For if there was a Goonies 2 it couldn't have been as good as this video was. I feel sad to know that it is over, but thank you nfor giving us something new to cherish.

Better than Cats
First of one of my favorite movies of my childhood and your mini movie was AWESOME. I laughed, I cried (ok not really) but it WAS Better than cats (never saw it but how could it not be better). Also working in Vacation was classic! I found the link on a honda web board honda-tech of all places. Anyhow pretty awesome editing and pretty damn funny too. Thanks for making the movie! Nostalgic
The Goonies has been my long time favourite movie when I was a kid, looking at your special tribute to this amazing movie, it makes me feel nostalgic. I think your video is just great and you two guys have a lot of talent. It's a lot of fun to see what Astoria looks like from your camera. I had a lot of fun watching your video and you have given me the taste of what would be a trip to Astoria. I'm seriously thinking of planning a trip to follow the Goonies footsteps...

This is a wonder of a job. I love the way you mixed your own shoots with the original movie. A true choice for any Goonie-fan! Listening to the David Grusin soundtrack brings back alot of good memories so when will it be released on cd or dvd? Great work guys!

Great Film Editing
Speaking from a Telecommunications background, your film was really good. I don't know if you went to college for film editing and what not, but it was great. It never dragged and kept our attention throughout. Great job, from a Ball State University Telecommunications/film minor graduate.

If you have a chance check out The Goonies.org it's a site where you can download a movie made by two guys who are way into goonies. So much so that they made a movie about their vacation to the town where goonies was shot. It's pretty funny, they're really big nerds.
